These quality, Australian made clothes are designed to help parents increase the awareness of allergy issues affecting their child, particularly when they can’t always be there to monitor every meal.

"As a mother of a child with a severely allergic reaction to peanuts, I was terrified every time Lucy was near food not prepared or scrutinised by me. Birthday parties, barbeques, picnics and school canteens can be potentially fatal locations if my child consumes products containing nuts. I knew of other mums whose children were allergic to other food products such as eggs and wheat, and decided there had to be a better way of letting others know not to offer products containing such ingredients to these children.

Having worked extensively in the clothing industry, it was a natural choice to design a range of clothing that children could be comfortable in wearing, and at the same time increase the awareness of the allergy causing food, specific to that child. So Allergy-a-wear was launched, and I feel my child is much safer when wearing the clothing and easier for those around Lucy to recognize that peanuts are a hazardous item for her. I hope other parents share my concern, and support this educational message"

The number of children affected by allergies is increasing and these clothes succinctly illustrate and remind others of the allergy causing foods. The Allergy-a-wear range also helps those youngsters who can’t yet verbalise their allergy to communicate the message clearly. Great for playgroup, kindy and other socially interactive encounters!

Jumpers, short and long sleeve t-shirts, and three hat styles are available in the range in a variety of different colours (see order form for details). Small or large logos can be applied to the clothing with a choice of four designs: Peanut, Egg, Wheat and Dairy. These logos can be displayed separately or in any combination. ($4 per each additional logo) Hat styles: Beanie, Bucket or Cap - only one logo per hat
Sew on badges for the purpose of school uniform sleeve, with the approval of the school.
